How to setup and install Geyser

Geyser is a Minecraft plugin that allows Bedrock (console) players to connect, and play with Java (PC) edition players on the same Minecraft server.

How do I install Geyser on my server?

Before doing anything, you'll first need to ensure you've got a port available for Geyser to use- if you're not familiar with creating additional ports on your server, please see this guide.

Head over to Geyser's official website and download the version that corresponds to your server type making sure to download both Geyser and Floodgate. For Bungeecord, you'll also need to download the Paper / Spigot Floodgate version.
Upload the Geyser and Floodgate jars to your server's plugin folder then restart your server.
Inside Geyser's config.yml, change auth-type under remote to floodgate and change port under bedrock to your previously created additional port then save the file and restart your server.
For Bungeecord networks, you only install the Paper / Spigot version of Floodgate on your sub-servers and then you need to copy the key.pem file from the Bungeecord Floodgate plugin folder into your sub-servers Floodgate plugin folder, replacing the existing key.pem file, and then restart the sub-servers.

After completing the above steps, you and your players should now be able to join and player on your server from Bedrock Edition using the additional port!
