How to change your Terraria's server version
You can change your Terraria server version easily via the Configuration -> Startup page on your Terraria server.
It is recommended that you make a backup before changing your Terraria server's version. See here for instructions on creating a backup.
Go to Terraria Fandom and find the version number you wish to install.
Head on over to your server's Configuration -> Startup page and replace the current Terraria Version property value with the version number you wish to run on your server. (eg. 1.4.4.9)
Once saved, go to Configuration -> Settings and click the Reinstall server button. Don't worry, this will only replace the version dependant files.
You can now start your server server and enjoy the version change.
